Why do mosquitoes bite certain people and ignore others

mosquitoes are attracted to mostly carbon dioxide, but they also go by scent, people who may give off my CO2 or have that tastey smell get bitten more requently. They may be attracted to saltier skin.idk.

its the odor u put out. Most woman use some ort of cream to make their skin soft, that smell makes them more attractive to masquitoes. It is not the blood or where you come from, cause getting the blood is the last step for a masquito. It really all comes from the odor u put out.

Mosquitoes are attracted to human bodies by heat, smell and carbon dioxide they breathe out. All these vary from indvidual to individual. Research appears to lend weight to the idea that body odour does play a major part. Lactic acid from our metabolism is a strong attractant and if you are more active you make have a higher level in your sweat.
Her scent is the clue.

mosquitos are attracted by body warmth and scent. Because of skin oils (which could relate to melanine and ancestry issues) some people are more appetizing to the little bastards then others.#Use a repellent that contains DEET. Wash with soap and water when you go inside. Also, a 'bug killer' (metal cage, electrified, with a greenish light inside) will help keep the area clear of all kinds of bugs.

i think it is something to do with blood type because my mum and brother have the same blood type and get bitten all the time i have a different type and pratically never get bitten

The oilier the skin, the more attractive your scent is to mosquitoes. I have very dry skin and they hate me, but my husband gets eaten alive.
